Dr. Deshoju Vemana Chary
Dr. D. Vemana Chary is an accomplished academician, researcher, and engineering
education leader with over 25 years of academic experience and expertise in Electronics and
Communication Engineering, wireless communications, mobile networks, Internet of Things
(IoT), Artificial Intelligence, and emerging digital technologies. He currently serves as
Professor at Malla Reddy Engineering College for Women, Hyderabad, India, and holds a
Ph.D. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological
University.
Aligned with the mission of the ITU-APT Foundation of India, Dr. Chary is committed to advancing telecommunications and ICT development, promoting digital innovation, strengthening international academic and industry collaboration, and supporting capacity building for emerging technologies. He aspires to contribute to initiatives that foster digital inclusion, sustainable connectivity, technology awareness, and cooperation among stakeholders across the Asia-Pacific region.
His research focuses on energy-efficient and secure communication networks, intelligent systems, embedded technologies, AI-enabled applications, and next-generation computing and communication solutions. He has authored research publications in international journals and conferences and contributed to collaborative research, student mentoring, and academic development.
